BFT Gate Motor Manual Release Key

The BFT gate motor manual release key allows you to operate the manual release on compatible BFT automation motors. Once released, you can move the gate by hand when required, such as during a power failure.

This metal key features a triangular socket and a shaped head with a keyring hole. In addition, its compact design makes it convenient to keep as a replacement or spare.

Applications

Use the BFT gate motor manual release key to access the matching release mechanism on supported gate operators. It is useful when automatic operation is unavailable or when manual movement is necessary.

However, release fittings vary between motor versions. Therefore, compare the key with your existing fitting before purchasing.

Safe Use and Maintenance

Before performing maintenance, disconnect the electrical supply and follow the instructions for your specific motor. When releasing the gate, keep it under control and ensure the movement area is clear.

Check and clean the mechanical components every six months. Where the manufacturer specifies lubrication, use the recommended lubricant and follow the motor’s maintenance schedule.

Afterwards, restore the release mechanism to its normal operating position before using the automation again.
